Angela Rippon supports observatory project

PIONEER female TV newsreader and famous high-kicking celebrity Angela Rippon makes a personal appearance in Herstmonceux next month.

She will be spilling the beans about life behind a newsdesk, on the BBC's bargain spotting trail, in the dance studio and backstage in a West End musical.

She will appear at an event described as a combination of celebrity interview and musical concert in the ballroom of Herstmonceux Castle on April 15.

Visitors can enjoy an audience with Angela, a glass of champagne and a performance by a choir of young, professional singers.

Angela Rippon has broken into a busy filming schedule for this appearance to support the Observatory Arts project on the castle estate.

She will be interviewed by the project's chairman, Stephen Phillips, a TV colleague and old friend.

The audience will also be invited to ask questions.
