4Sight boss praises local organisations

EVERYONE involved with 4Sight was thanked at the charity's AGM this month which was held on World Sight Day.

The event at the Lodge Hill Centre near Pulborough was attended by councillors from across the county.

They included John Bailey, chairman of Horsham District Council, Christine Brown, the mayor of Worthing, Margaret Hersey, chairman of Mid Sussex District Council and Councillor Chris-topher Hersey, Ashvin Patel, chairman of Arun District Council, Brenda Burgess, deputy mayor of Crawley Borough Coun-cil, Margaret Baker, the mayor of Haywards Heath and chairman of 4Sight's area committee.

They were joined also by the charity's patron, Lady Sarah Clutton, president Patricia Hooley and trustees, volunteers and members at Lodge Hill.

The 4Sight chief executive, Martin Pearson said: "The commitment from these local organisations to supporting people with visual impairment is impressive.

"We hope that this will continue to grow as demands for our services increase."
