5. Charles Dickens, Hastings

6. Robert Bevan, Hove
An artist who lived from 1865 to 1925, Robert Bevan was born in Hove and so is commemorated at his birthplace. A painter and lithographer, he became a founding member of the Camden Town Group in 1911 and of the London Group in 1913.
7. Hastings Old Bank, Hastings
This plaque sited at 90 High Street, Hastings, commemorates the first bank that was established there in 1791, as a historical landmark. A Provincial bank issuing paper money, it failed in 1857.
