West Sussex firm's new head office

Systagenix, the advanced wound management company, has opened its new bespoke head office at City Place, Gatwick, as the epicenter and focus for its global business.

The Systagenix Head Office was officially opened by the Mayor of Crawley, Councillor Brenda Burgess. The MP for Crawley, Laura Moffatt, was also in attendance, along with local dignitaries, customers and employees.

The business has grown at a phenomenal rate since its inception in December 2008, when it was run by one person working from home, through to four people in the Regus building in Crawley to now 70 people at City Place.

In fact, Systagenix is on target to grow by over 230 people by the end of 2009 to over 800 employees globally.

Systagenix was formed by a management buyout of the Johnson & Johnson Professional Wound Care business which had a 75 year heritage. Systagenix has very clear objectives to become the world's strongest and most admired wound care company.

The business has the history and knowledge, and now it has a new, dynamic, energetic and highly informed management team to take it to the next level both here in the UK as well as across the globe.

Systagenix manufacturers in excess of 30 million wound dressings a month. These are used to treat patients in hospitals, nursing homes and also in their own homes in over 50 countries.
