Rag‘n’Bone Man announces Sussex date for summer 2021

Rag‘n’Bone Man has confirmed a 2021 summer concert at the South Of England Event Centre, Ardingly.

He will perform on Friday, July 16.

Heritage Live has announced it will host a series of concerts over the weekend of July 16-18 2021 at the South of England Event Centre - the 150 acre site at the heart of stunning countryside in Ardingly– home to the annual South of England Show,

The site is owned and operated by the South of England Agricultural Society.

Giles Cooper, promoter of Heritage Live, said: “We are delighted to be bringing the best in music to this beautiful location as part of our 2021 Heritage Live concert series. The South of England Showground has always played a particularly important role in highlighting the importance of England’s farming heritage, so it is wonderful that we can also bring what will be a diverse array of music artists to this spectacular part of the country”.

“Known for his distinctive baritone voice, Rag‘n’Bone Man is one of the most successful British breakthrough artists of recent years.

“Having won the 2017 BRIT’s British Breakthrough Act and receiving the BRIT’s Critics’ Choice Award in the same year, Rag‘n’Bone Man cemented his success following the record-breaking release of his triple-platinum number-one album Human, with a further BRIT Award for Best Single of the Year with the title track (Human) in 2018.

“The album and its tracks have also been recognised internationally, earning him sell-out tours and festival appearances around the globe. More recently, Rag‘n’Bone Man appeared at last year’s BRIT Awards with Calvin Harris, performing their monster hit track Giant.”

The South of England Agricultural Society was founded in 1967, but its early beginnings can be traced back through many hundreds of years of English farming heritage. A consolidation of agricultural societies from the 1830s, the Society now works across the six counties of Berkshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex.

The Society is a registered charity that funds and supports agricultural education and countryside learning. from showcasing the land and its industries to the public to inspiring school children to understand where their food comes from and helping with funding for students interested in a career in agriculture.
