“Join us for a feelgood evening of reggae music from the formidable Gregory Fabulous and Tuffwize.

“Fabulous and Tuffwize have been instrumental in merging intergenerational reggae with their own style to create their own modern sound, bringing together memories of lovers’ rock, roots rock reggae and dancehall.

“African Night Fever has been a long admirer of Fabulous and Tuffwize for their style, charisma and musicianship. If reggae is your thing, then you won’t want to miss this.”

“Nubiyan Twist are a UK Afro-Jazz nine-piece band led by Tom Excell, fusing groove driven music with sound system culture and improvisation.

“Their infectious style draws on jazz, hip-hop, Afrobeat, latin, soul, reggae and dance music, blending ultra-tight musicianship with a powerful big band sound.

“Their fans include Mary Ann Hobbs, Gilles Peterson, Huey Morgan, David Rodigan, Craig Charles and David Byrne who chose the band for his Meltdown festival at Southbank Centre.

Nubiyan Twist released their second album Freedom Fables on March 12 2021 to a series of great reviews, with single If I Know playlisted on BBC Radio 6 Music.”
