Worthing under-15s set for final fours

WORTHING Thunder Basketball Club’s under-15 team have qualified for the Basketball England final fours weekend for the third successive year.

Worthing Thunders under-15 team head to Sheffield this weekend

The team won the National League Southern region title with 12 wins from their 14 matches, which included hard-fought victories against the strong London-based teams, Peckham and London Feltham Warriors.

In the play-offs, Thunder have defeated Thames Valley and Leicester Warriors, in a closely-fought battle. Worthing head to Sheffield for the final fours this weekend.

The Thunder team is Louis Godson-Biddell, Dan Abbot, Georges Tchuako, Hosana Kitenge, Sam Joseph, Harry Baker, Luke Elder, Justin Jolito, Colin Luzinda, Dando Huber, Stephen Izobo, Tom Williams, Mussa Kissala, Guy Atoun and Shaun Augustin.

Karl Youngman is the team’s coach.
