Midfielder Paul Schofield was Town's star with four goals to move onto nine for the season.

James Davis and Simon Price were also on target. Town led 1-0 before Storrington equalised through Ramin Jarvand four minutes before half-time but Steyning still led 3-1 by the break.

It soon became 5-1 before Jarvand got his second but there was still time for Steyning to add a sixth.

The last time Steyning hit six goals in a game was in an 8-0 victory over Pease Pottage in October 2003.
