STEYNING READY FOR FINAL DATE

IF ONLY Steyning had managed to reproduce their cup form in the league this year.

On Monday, they play Preston Nomads in the Sussex Cup final having beaten Cuckfield, East Grinstead and Littlehampton.

Bowler Neil Mansbridge said: "Everybody at the club is looking forward to it. We have two league games still to play but this has given everyone something to play for.

"Hopefully we will go out and give a good account of ourselves. Both league games with Preston this year have been relatively close and one of them we probably should have won."
