Video released of Raiders’ coaching session with England stars

A video of Worthing Raiders Rugby Club’s memorable coaching session with three England players has been released.

Hundreds of rugby fans turned out at Roundstone Lane earlier this month to watch England stars Joe Launchbury, Jonathan Joseph and George Ford help put on a coaching session with the Worthing players.

That was Raiders’ reward for winning the inaugural Samsung try of the season award for 2014-15, after Jamie Redmayne finished off a stunning team move against Dorking last December.

In addition to the training session, Worthing Raiders received £1,000 worth of Samsung technology installed in their clubhouse.

Benjamin Blanco, Head of Sport & Entertainment Marketing, Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland said: “Samsung Try of the Season is all about celebrating the brilliant moments captured in rugby every week across the country at all levels through our partnership with England Rugby.

“We are pleased to have been able to create a special evening for Worthing Raiders RFC, including bringing Joe Launchbury back for one last appearance!

“We would encourage clubs up and down the country to get involved in the Samsung Try of the Month competition for their chance to win Samsung’s latest technology or even an experience such as this.”
