Looking ahead to the match, Coulson said: “It will be incredibly tough, they are one of the best teams in the league and the challenge they pose will be multi-dimensional.

“Their forwards create a good platform in the set-piece and they have backs that can create scores from anywhere on the field. They are in the top five of a very tough league for a number of reasons.”

Coulson hopes Raiders can continue their impressive start at home and said: “We’re still confident that any side coming to Rugby Park have to be at their best to take points away.

“It is important for us to make sure we go about our business and complete our processes to allow the best chance of winning.

“If we concentrate, maintain intensity and continue to build on the progress made thus far this season, we will have every chance of stretching our home winning run for another week or two.”
