Hide AdWorthing were not behind for long, though, as a slick interplay between Matt McLean and Harry Forrest saw the latter go on to touch down his side’s first try. McLean then made no mistake with the conversion to make it 7-3 to the visitors.
The home side responded well to going behind and spent the next 30 minutes camped in the Raiders half.
The All Blacks made their pressure count with Lewitt kicking over his second penalty on 13 minutes to bring his side within a point of Worthing.
Worthing were being constantly bombarded by Cornish All Blacks pressure and on 29 minutes they took the lead as Lewitt made it a hat-trick of penalties as Raiders fell 9-7 behind.

Hide AdRaiders were once again penalised just five minutes later and that man Lewitt kicked his fourth penalty in the opening 34 minutes to make it 12-7.
Worthing did manage to get themselves back on terms soon after, though, when they went on a rare attack.
Callum Waters kicked long and over the All Blacks back line and McLean latched onto the loose ball before going over for Raiders’ second try of the contest.
McLean’s conversion effort struck the post and went wide so the sides went in level at the break.

The game was all but over eight minutes from time as Lewitt got a try, before converting to make it 29-12.
Worthing did manage to pull back a late try through Forrest but there was to be no time for a comeback as Raiders fell to a 29-17 loss.
