Raiders increase lead at the top

Worthing Raiders Rugby Club have increased their lead at the top of National 2 South to six points after victory over Chinnor on Saturday (January 26).

Raiders won the match 31-15 and moved four points further clear of second-placed Henley Hawks, who lost 19-15 at Cornish All Blacks.

Third-placed Hartpury College are 11 points behind Worthing, with a game in hand, after a 45-12 victory at bottom-of-the-table Barking.

Fourth-placed Redruth suffered a second successive postponement as their match at Canterbury was called off.

Redruth host Raiders in a top-of-the-table clash next Saturday (February 2). Redruth are 12 points behind Worthing with two games in hand.
