Rebels can only draw with Carshalton

WORTHING Football Club drew 0-0 at home to mediocre Carshalton Athletic in a scenario where draws at home are of no use to Rebels.

They deserved no more than that scoreline because they failed to create anything serious in the last third of the pitch. Likewise Carshalton, whose competence in front of goal with the little extra they came up with bred no confidence in their likelihood of their scoring.

Goalkeeper Rikki Banks' crucial saves gained him Worthing's Man of the Match verdict after a game devoid of true highlights.
