Raiders will have a second row from Wales on trial in their pre-season friendly at Blackheath on Saturday.

Another new face who will feature on Saturday will be George Montgomery, a utility back, who has impressed Raiders on the 7s circuit this summer.

Worthing backs coach Nick Buoy said: “We’re looking to recruit from further afield now, so have got a house for players to stay at.

“We’ve got players coming on trial and if they’re good enough, we’ll help them find a job and put them up in the house.
