PORTSLADE GET A BATTERING
PORTSLADE Cricket Club had a weekend they will want to forget in a hurry after two defeats. They lost at home to second bottom Ram on Saturday then, on Sunday, Middleton wracked up a new Invitation League record score.
Middleton smashed 329-7 from their 49 overs, beating Crawley Eagles' 2nd XI record of 320 set against Felbridge four weeks ago.
