Search for information about coffee set
A few weeks ago, Worthing Borough Council was contacted by Guild Care, which had been given a coffee set with an inscription on it saying: ‘Presented by Worthing Council of Youth 1972’.
The set consisted of an antique coffee pot, sugar bowl and five cups and saucers, with the cups inscribed ‘Wcy 1972’.
The Worthing & Adur Youth Council is now researching the background of the set, and would appreciate any knowledge the people of Worthing have on what it was presented for, and to whom.
