MIDDLE ORDER COLLAPSE COSTS PORTSLADE

PORTSLADE Cricket Club have slipped down to third from bottom after their home defeat to St Andrews on Saturday.

It was their sixth defeat in nine games this year, although it was again a game which could have gone either way.

Portslade's openers, Sam Jones and Rhys Grosvenor, started off feriously and had racked up 54 off the first six overs. That was as good as it got for Portslade, though.
