Worthing United beat Wick in Division 2 Cup final
WORTHING United Football Club lifted the County League Division 2 Cup after a 2-0 victory over Wick & Barnham United at Shoreham this afternoon.
The Mavericks, the County League Division 2 champions, won the cup with goals from Wayne Joseph and Sam Blundell.
Joseph got the opener for Nigel Geary’s side on 14 minutes, before Blundell made it 2-0 just two minutes later and that was the way things stayed.
