Jimmy Muitt’s brace, coupled with strikes from James Fraser, Ed Sanders, James Crane, Ollie Pearce and a Jacob Cook own-goal saw Wickers suffer a 7-0 second-round defeat at Bognor Regis Town.

John Kilgarriff’s Wickers side were five down by half-time as Cook’s own goal, a brace from Muitt, an effort from Sanders and a Fraser strike put the hosts in cruise control.

Rocks found the net a further two times in the second period, with Pearce and Crane netting.

Wickers boss John Kilgarriff was left in awe at some of what was produced on the night from Bognor and said: ““Bognor were unbelievable on the evening.

“It was a real insight into what level they are at present.

“We were never going into it thinking we would win it, we just wanted to make sure we weren’t humiliated.

“They did not stop moving, following every pass and putting us under constant pressure.

“If I was to try to replicate a club at their level, it would be them.

“The ground is great, so is the clubhouse, everyone was friendly and they showed no arrogance whatsoever.”
