Bosses at the SCFL division one club say it was a hard decision to make as Bardouleau had been a good servant as player and manager.

Storrington were 15th in the table when football was suspended in the coronavirus lockdown.

A Storrington spokesman said: "Adam has been at the club for a long time as a player, albeit with two or three seasons away, and recently, after helping out as a coach at the end of last season, he was given the job as first-team manager at the start of the 2019-20 season.

"He has been at the club a good period of time so this was a hard decision to make. We would like to thank Adam for his hard work over the season and wish him all the best in whatever he decides to do in the future."

Storrington have already had a number of people expressing an interest in the vacancy and have now closed the period for applications.
