Former Liverpool and Finland international defender Sami Hyypia was named Albion’s new manager last week.

Worthing’s communications director Ian Hart said: “It’s very kind of Albion to put us back in their pre-season schedule.

“It also gives an opportunity for the Worthing footballing public to see Sami Hyypia and co close up.”

Rebels’ youth side will again take on the respective under-16 teams from Crystal Palace, Portsmouth and Brighton in their pre-season programme.

Dates and times are to be confirmed.

Worthing will also run an under-21 team next season, which will be managed by Bob Paine.
