One of the fastest growing sports in the world is women’s football – just look at the success of the England team and the increased support they receive. This part of the world is no exception.

FA Chartered football club Rustington Raiders are growing – they already have more than 100 girls training and playing weekly are looking for girls about to go into Year 9 to join their U14s section.

They are stepping up to 11-a-side and this friendly hard-working group of girls need to bolster their numbers.

So if you’re looking for a change or fancy taking up the game for the first time, please come along to a training session and see if it’s for you.

Rustington Raiders, who are now in their eighth year, are a friendly, nurturing club.

U14s coach Garry Spight is welcoming and offers a firm but fair coaching attitude.

“If you have never played before or have played for BHAFC like a few of the girls here, come down for a training session and join in the fun,” he said.

Rustington Raiders play their games all over Sussex and their home ground is in Angmering, for games and training.

They are looking for players in various positions, including a goalkeeper, so don’t delay.
