BBC's Mark Lawrenson makes this bold prediction for Brighton ahead of Norwich

Brighton will hope to put the Manchester United result firmly behind them as they travel to Premier League basement team Norwich City this Saturday (12.30pm)

Graham Potter's men have gathered four points from their three matches since the return of the Premier League. They enjoyed victory against Arsenal followed by a creditable 0-0 draw at Leicester.

United proved far too strong for them at the Amex last Tuesday but a win at Carrow Road this Saturday would go a long way to securing their Premier League status.

Albion are six point above the relegation zone with six matches remaining, while Norwich have struggled this campaign and are seven points adrift of Watford who are fourth bottom.

A win for Brighton would take them to 36 points - the same total they finished on last season - and would pretty much seal Norwich's fate.

Writing for his prediction column for the BBC, Mark Lawrenson said: "Norwich have not scored a goal or picked up a point in their three league games since the restart, and they are rapidly running out of chances to save themselves.

"The Canaries might see this game as the start of a run of winnable fixtures, but there is a reason they are in the mess they are in. They don't create enough chances and they are too easy to play through.

"Brighton were turned over by Manchester United on Tuesday, but this is an opportunity for them to take another big step towards survival and take a lot of pressure off their run-in.

"They will know all of that, which is why I think they will go to Carrow Road for a win."

Lawro's prediction: 1-2

This week, former Albion defender Lawro, was up against Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil.

Simon's prediction: "I don't see Norwich having any way out now but a draw would at least give them something to smile about. 1-1."
