JOHN SUTER has returned to County League football to resume his career.
Shocked at his sacking by Horsham YMCA after experiencing the first relegation of his long managerial career, the veteran ex-Wick, Storrington, Selsey, and Sussex county team boss has joined Hassocks.
He will replace the outgoing Dave John and run the team with Mick Jewell.
YMCA, dropping out of the Ryman League, will find themselves up against Suter in County League Division 1 next season. Suter was there for 19 seasons.
He was in the running to take over from Simon Colbran at promoted County League champions Crowborough Athletic, along with former Albion coach and Whitehawk manager Ian Chapman. But the job has gone to Steve Johnson, formerly with Arundel, Weymouth, and who, at the end of this season, quit Ringmer.
Bob Munnery and Steve Oliver have taken over Ringmer. They managed the Reserves and Youth sides last season.
