DAVE MARTIN eased Shoreham to the top of Division Two with a four-goal performance, as Roger Brace s side made it seven wins out of eight by thrashing Broadbridge Heath at Middle Road on Saturday.

Martin, playing in place of the delayed Warren Levy, took full advantage of his starting opportunity, with a great performance to give his manager a selection headache for the future.

He now has Andy Agutter, Levy, Martin and Gary Mansell all champing at the bit for places up front and that can only bode well for a side with a stated intention of promotion this season.

Martin struck twice in as many minutes to give Mussels the first-half rule.

He tidied up after 17 minutes, when Ben Boiling s initial shot was parried, and then flicked into the top corner after a Mark Pulling cross.

He completed his hat-trick two minutes after the break, slotting home from six yards, and Martin O Donnell soon made it four bundling the ball in after he had two shots blocked.
