The Sharks got off the mark for the new Twenty20 campaign on Sunday at Lord’s as they beat Middlesex Panthers.

Luke Wright’s fantastic 81 supported by Chris Nash (45) and Rory Hamilton-Brown (47), propelled Sussex to the first 200-plus score of this year’s tournament, before three wickets from Michael Yardy and incredible catches from Joe Gatting, Chris Jordan and Dwayne Smith helped the Sharks restrict the hosts to 178.
