Findon drew at Crowhurst Park in a Sussex League Division 2 clash two weeks ago, when they finished on 106-9, in reply to the hosts’ 183-9.

Findon captain James Iago is hoping for an improved display from his side this time around and said: “It should be a good one on Sunday.

“We struggled up there in the league a couple of weeks ago. However, we will be returning with a completely different side and I’m confident of a decent performance and a positive result.”

Findon, the runners-up at Lord’s in the competition in 2007, have reached the Sussex final with wins over Middleton, Ifield and Poynings, which saw them win the West Sussex regionalised draw.

Crowhurst Park won the East Sussex section, with victories against Plumpton & East Chiltington (walk-over), Newick and Rottingdean.

The winners of Sunday’s match will host either Buckinghamshire winners Dinton or Surrey victors Rowledge in the last 16.

Findon beat Rowledge on route to the final in 2007, before Rowledge knocked Findon out in the last 32 in 2010.
