Edgbaston awaits as Sharks continue Royal London One Day Cup

Sussex Sharks play their second match in the Royal London One-Day Cup tournament today when they take on Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

The Sharks head to Birmingham in good heart after completing their first LV County Championship double over the Midlanders since the 1960 season last week at Horsham, and in the process vastly improved their position in the Division 1 standings.

Former Warwickshire man Steffan Piolet starred in Sussex’s opening One-Day Cup encounter on Sunday, as he took two wickets and scored an unbeaten 63 against Nottinghamshire Outlaws.
