Worthing’s Mason Crane helped England’s under-19 cricketers to a World Cup win over the West Indies in Chittagong.

The Hampshire spinner took one for 44 in his eight-over spell as the England youngsters bowled out the Windies for 221.

They were chasing a target of 283 after England posted an impressive 282 for seven in their 50 overs.

The victory put England top of Group D with two wins from two.

Next up for England is their final group game – against Zimbabwe on Sunday. Crane will be hopeful of being involved again.
