The Rotary and Hillbarn recreation grounds played host to a number of teams from all over West Sussex, who participated in a fast and furious beach cricket format. Smaller, less traditional, boundaries provided youngsters of all ages and abilities the opportunity to hit an abundance of fours and sixes, much to the delight of their supporters.

Chipps chairman Paul Baker said: “After the extremely wet weather before the weekend, we had a superb couple of days of non-stop cricket from under-nines through to under-16s as well as, for the first time, some businesses and adult teams who also had a go at the same format.
