CRAY HIT TOWN FOR SIX

BRAVE Steyning's hopes of a long and glorious run in this year's FA Cup competition were brought to an abrupt and sudden halt by a far superior Cray Wanderers of the Ryman League Division 1.

In humid conditions, Steyning simply had no answer to the pace, power and movement of Cray who showed just why they play their football three divisions higher in the Non-League football pyramid.

Cray can proudly boast to be the world's second oldest football club. The Kent-based-visitors narrowly lost out in the play-offs to Horsham in extra time last season to agonisingly miss out on promotion for a second season in succession.
