Thunder head to Leeds Carnegie in the last eight, with a home tie against Manchester Magic awaiting the winners.

Worthing will include American Terrell Bell in their squad. He was signed late last week and made his debut in a 83-82 defeat at Bradford Dragons in EBL Division 1 on Saturday.

Thunder coach Daniel Hildreth is set to have a full squad available for the match at Leeds and said: “It’s a chance for silverware. Three teams have reached the semi-finals already and we want to be the fourth team.

“We don’t want to look too far ahead but we are just two wins away from reaching a final.

“We’ll be working hard and preparing for Leeds all week in training. They’ve got a new addition in American Russell Permenter, who is very active on the rebounding, so we’ll have to take care of the board at both ends of the court.

“The addition of Terrell gives us a lot more confidence and he’s going to really help us out.

“We’re not where we want to be in the league but we still feel we can make a push and get on a run.”
