LETTER: Apologies

To the three ladies who wrote last week (July 2), somewhat distressed at my remarks regarding the outside of the charity shop in Shoreham High Street, I apologise.

I have been in this excellent shop several times and even bought some items!

I think their windows are super.

All I was pointing out is that, in my opinion, it is rather unsightly to have various items on the pavement in the town’s High Street!

And I do know that I am not the only one – such as the council and highways.

Let’s say no more.
