A YACHT with six people on board hit trouble in the sea off Shoreham on Friday evening.
Shoreham RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat was launched to a report of a yacht taking on water at 9.30pm.
The 32ft vessel was located 10 miles south west of Shoreham Harbour.
When the lifeboat crew arrived, they were told by the skipper that the vessel’s bilge pumps had controlled the water leak.
The lifeboat escorted the vessel back to Shoreham Harbour and then returned to station.
