Worthing school placed in special measures

CONCERNED parents of pupils at a Worthing school which has been taken into special measures are due to meet senior staff

An inspection of Chesswood Middle School by Ofsted in February was critical of its performance.

Despite praising the efforts of staff the report stated it was “failing to give its pupils an acceptable standard of education”.

Parents were reportedly due to meet staff this weekend to discuss progress made on implementing improvements.
