Providers of telecare in West Sussex will be there to answer questions along with representatives from the county council’s Prevention Assessment Teams, West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, and the Connect to Support website.

The event is being supported by West Sussex County Council.

Peter Catchpole, WSCC’s cabinet member for adult social care and health, said: “Telecare helps to reduce some of the stress and anxiety for people of all ages who need a bit of extra help to live independently, giving them a feeling of being safe and secure with the added reassurance that if they ever need help, 24-hour responders are always on hand to attend around the clock.

“It also gives many carers the confidence to continue with their lives, with peace of mind that their loved ones are safe at home.”
