Worthing and Chichester court results

THE FOLLOWING are court results for Chichester and Worthing magistrates’ courts for September 14, 15, 17 and 18.

Enos Moyo, 27, of Mulberry Gardens, Worthing, was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months, after admitting assault by beating on June 13, 2015. He was given two further 12-week concurrent prison sentences, suspended for 24 months, after admitting failing to surrender to custody on May 26, 2015, and being found guilty of resisting a police constable in Worthing on August 21, 2014. He must pay £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Luke Pearson, 26, of Beeches Avenue, Worthing, had to pay £70 costs after failing to comply with a community order. He was dealt with for the original offences, two charges of assault by beating on August 11, 2014. A community order was made with eight-week curfew between 6pm and 8am, electronically monitored.

Marc Harris, 43, of Chiltern Crescent, Worthing, was fined £345 and must pay £35 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting driving without insurance in Shaftesbury Avenue, Goring, on September 2, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points. He also admitted driving without a licence, and possessing cannabis, no separate penalties.

James Mendez-Weston, 27, of Rowlands Road, Worthing, was discharged conditionally for six months after admitting stealing two bottles of wine worth £10.48 from Tesco Express on September 3, 2015. He must pay £15 victim surcharge, £35 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Daryl Sullivan, 44, of Farncombe Road, East Worthing, was fined £270 and must pay £27 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (78mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Broadwater Road, Worthing, on July 31, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Hollie Moore, 28, of Westmead Gardens, West Avenue, Worthing, was given a community order and must pay £35 compensation, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting stealing a £35 DVD from HMV. She admitted breaching a conditional discharge, no action taken.

Ben Carvin, 26, of Bradfield Walk, Worthing, was fined £50 and must pay £2.60 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £80 costs, after admitting entering a train at West Worthing, intending to travel without a ticket, on March 12, 2015.

Ismail Badcock, 23, of Belsize Road, Worthing, was discharged conditionally for nine months and must pay £15 victim surcharge, £50 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting being drunk and disorderly in Clifton Road, Worthing, on August 30, 2015, and wilfully obstructing a police constable.

Michael Coghlan, 40, of Fastnet Way, Littlehampton, was fined £110 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after being found guilty of drink-driving (91mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Fastnet Way, Littlehampton, on August 6, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 23 months.

Alex Mills, 28, of Greenacres, Shoreham, was fined £35 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 criminal courts charge, after admitting possessing cannabis in South Farm Road, Worthing, on August 30, 2015. He was given a six-month conditional discharge after admitting obstructing a police constable.

Harry Beirne, 23, of Larch Lodge, Romany Road, Worthing, was fined £35 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting resisting a police constable in Romany Road, Worthing, on August 31, 2015. He also admitted being drunk and disorderly, and obstructing a highway, no separate penalty. He admitted breaching a conditional discharge, no action taken.

Stuart Graydon, 25, of Walnut Tree Way, Durrington, must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 criminal courts charge after admitting taking a vehicle without consent, and damaging it, on August 23, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He also admitted driving without a licence and driving without insurance, no separate penalty.

Nicola Roffey, 42, of Ullswater Drive, Littlehampton, was fined £635 and must pay £64 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (58mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Worthing Road, Rustington, on August 29, 2015. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Robert Scott, 61, of Oakcroft Gardens, Littlehampton, was fined £210 and must pay £21 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (77mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Ford Road, Arundel, on August 28, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.
