Worthing and Adur Schools' annual eco summit
This month sees the return of the annual Worthing and Adur Schools' Eco Summit, which will be staged at Davison CE High School for Girls.
The event will be hosted by E.Y.E. ‘Eco, Young & Engaged’ which is a sustainable learning project helping young people to make a positive difference to their environment, on Tuesday.
Around 250 pupils from 18 schools will attend the event and Emma Pinchbeck, head of climate change and energy at WWF UK, will give a key note speech.
The summit will have a climate change theme and interactive workshops will run throughout the day.
Davison pupils will run a workshop on the challenges faced by animals in an ever changing environment and British kitesurfing champion Lewis Crathern will speak on the power of wind.
