Woods Travel set to mark 45th year

Woods Travel will be celebrating its 45th year in the travel industry with a travel show.

The event will be held on the Arundel Castle cricket ground on Saturday, May 14.

From 10am until 5pm, there will be a travel exhibition, live music, refreshments, a 20/20 cricket match, and holiday and travel presentations.

The travel show will include many holiday companies, cruise lines, hotels and visitor attractions, who will be sharing the holidays and excursions available when booking with Woods.

The programme includes a talk from Beachcomber, Mauritius holiday specialists with holiday options to Seychelles, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Morocco.

Hurtigruten will also be speaking about discovering costal voyage cruising to Norway, Antarctica, Spitsbergen and Greenland.

APT River Cruises will be talking about the world of luxury river cruising, and Fred Olsen Cruise Lines will be discussing small shop worldwide cruising, sailing from the UK.

Visitors can discover six star luxury worldwide cruising with Silversea, and entertainment and activity holidays for grown ups in 13 UK locations with Warner Holidays.

There will be coach travel information and pick up points to take visitors to the event.

These will be available from Amberley, Angmering, Bognor Regis, Chichester, Cosham, Cranleigh, Eastbourne, Ferring, Havant, Littlehampton, Petwroth, Portsmouth, Rottingdean, Rustington, Selsey, Shoreham, Steyning, Storrington, and Worthing, among others.

Entry is £5 including coach travel, or £2.50 on the gate, which includes free parking.

There will also be a 45 year grand prize draw. The first prize is a five day coach holiday for two people in a twin room from Woods 2016 or 2016/2017 winter brochure.

Other prizes include holiday vouchers, hotel accomodation, afternoon tea, champagne, theatre tickets, garden centre vouchers and more.

Tickets are £1 and proceeds will go to the RNLI.
