Strong winds are set to continue battering the South coast this week.

Gusts are expected to reach a peak of 59mph on Tuesday (November 17) and remain relatively high for the rest of the week.

Rain is predicted for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, while Wednesday is expected to see the best weather, staying dry with periods of sunshine.

While weather warnings and flood warnings have been issued for other areas of the UK, no alerts have yet been raised in Sussex.
