Win tickets to see legendary Ginger Baker

DRUMMING legend Ginger Baker will showcase his percussive talents in Worthing next Saturday evening.

The former Cream sticksman is playing at the St Paul’s Centre, in Chapel Road, in honor of his 75th birthday, alongside Alec Dankworth (Van Morrison bassist) Pee Wee Ellis (sax player for James Brown) and Abass Dodoo.

Fans should expect a ‘highly charged, progressive mix of jazz, fusion and African sounds in the style of jazz giant Thelonious Monk’.

The venue is offering two free tickets to the gig and a signed copy of Ginger’s latest album ‘Why?’. All fans need to do to enter is email [email protected] with their name, address and contact details, and Ginger in the subject line, before 12pm on Thursday.

The winner will be contacted by telephone on Thursday afternoon and their name will be added to the guestlist.
