TICKETS for the Wild Life Festival at Shoreham Airport have sold out in less than a week.
Hundreds of residents queued for hours last Thursday to get their tickets at the Shoreham Centre.
The tickets then went on general sale on Friday and the 35,000 tickets have now sold out.
Promoters SJM said they were delighted with the response and promised the festival would run smoothly and hoped residents would welcome them back next year.
Festival organiser Rob Ballantine: “It has been better than predicted. We weren’t expecting it.”
Disclosure released a statement that said: “We cannot believe it. Thank you all so much for all your support”
Rudimental added: “We couldn’t be happier that our first Wild Life Festival sold out so quickly. Hope you managed to get a ticket. It’s going to be the best party of the year — see you there.”
Other acts joining Disclosure, Rudimental and Sam Smith have also been announced and include Mark Ronson, NAS and Wu-Tang Clan.
