West Sussex schools to close because of strike action – updated

DETAILS of school and nursery closures and partial closures because of the strike action on Wednesday, November 30, are listed below.

Bognor Regis:

Bognor Regis Nursery School, Bognor Regis – closed to all free entitlement nursery attendees

Barnham Primary School – completely closed

Felpham Community College – this school will be closed for all students in years 7 to 11. The school will be open for 6th form students for private study.

Laburnum Grove Junior School – completely closed

Nyewood Infant School, Bognor Regis – completely closed

Rose Green Infant School – completely closed

The Regis School, Bognor Regis – The only students who should attend are those in the Sixth Form and those Year 11 students who are studying courses in GCSE IT, BTEC Science and BTEC Business Studies. For those students the school will open from 8.30 am to 12.15 pm. For all remaining students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 the school is closed.

Bishop Tufnell Infant School, Felpham – This school is closed for Chestnut Class Y1, Willow Class Y2, Rowan Y2 Class. The school will be open for all other classes as usual.

St James’ Primary School, Emsworth - The following classes will remain open on Wednesday, November 30 – Lions, Jaguars (until 12 noon), Panthers, year 3 and year 5.
