Scattered heavy thundery showers are expected to develop, and will once again lead to slow-moving downpours across the county.

There may be localised flooding and disruption to travel.

The Met Office adds that some parts will inevitably miss most, or all, of the heavier rain, but the yellow ‘be prepeared’ warning has been issued to cover the whole of Sussex.

The forecast for the rest of the week is for scattered showers with the occasional sunny spell.

Temperatures are set to stay in the mid to high teens.

At the moment the weekend is likely to be cloudy but dry.
