After a weekend of thundery showers and above average daytime temperatures, Sussex faces a cold snap next week with frosts but also sunshine.
The county is set to see plenty of showers in a generally cloudy day tomorrow (Saturday January 9) with some thunder during the afternoon.
The daytime temperature is set to remain near double figures on Sunday with less rain.
Monday’s forecast is for the temperature to start to drop, with most of the week near freezing during the day and night-time frosts.
The wind is also due to pick up during the week, making it feel even colder.
However, the Met Office forecast at the moment is for no rain next week and sunny spells.
