WEATHER NEWS: Sussex set for '˜sleet and wintry showers'
Sussex will see a wet start to the week with a chance of sleet before the month is out.
The Met Office forecasts a cold Monday (April 25) ‘with sunshine and showers through the day before a more organised band of showers for the evening’.
However, temperatures are set to drop for the remainder of the week, peaking at 11C.
Tuesday is set to be ‘very windy’, with rain and sleet at first before getting brighter. While it is expected to get less windy as the week goes on, it will stay cold with some heavy wintry showers. Overnight frosts are likely.
The pollen count will stay at moderate levels throughout the week across Sussex, according to the Met Office.
