Warning - take care in car park

USERS of a busy car park have been urged to take care near one of its walls.

Protective fencing has been erected along a stretch of wall in Steyning's 44-space High Street car park, opposite the town's iconic clock tower.

The brick and flint wall has been monitored by officers from Horsham District Council '“ which operates the car park '“ and has experienced some movement in recent years.

The temporary fencing, to protect people and vehicles from possible falling debris from the wall, has resulted in six parking spaces being lost.
