A warning over heavy rain for Friday evening (July 3) and Saturday morning across Sussex has been issued.
The Met Office has issued the yellow warning which means the public should be aware of possible localised flooding and difficult drving conditions.
The heavy showers could also turn thundery.
Currently the warning is from around 7pm on Friday through to mid-morning Saturday.
At the moment the weather forecast is for sunny spells for the rest of today (Thursday) and tomorrow until Friday evening.
The temperature is due to remain in the low to mid-20s degC, although the night-time could remain in the mid to high teens.
After the rain clouds move on, the weekend across Sussex is set to be generally cloudy and warm.
