A ‘FABULOUS’ vintage fair is making its third appearance in Shoreham and this time there will be a distinctively festive feel to the stalls.
Johnny Loves June vintage and handmade fair will be held at the Shoreham Centre, Pond Road, on December 8, from 1pm until 6pm.
Organisers are hoping to make the fair a quarterly event in Shoreham in the more than 40 stalls of vintage and handmade clothing, accessories, gifts, home wares, jewellery, haberdashery, furniture, children’s clothing and collectibles.
Plus, there will be a tea-room with vintage crockery, live entertainment, a pop-up pin-up salon for hair and make-up and a performance and free taster charleston dance class with Brighton Lindy Hoppers.
Faye Spiller, organiser of Johnny Loves June vintage fair, said: “We have developed a good following with people coming over from Brighton and further a-field to experience a great vintage and handmade fair, fabulous live entertainment, a vintage themed tea room and a vintage hair and beauty parlour.
“This is a big event for the Shoreham Centre.
“We’ve previously had over 1,000 people through the doors throughout the day.
“There is a strong emphasis on local sellers and makers and small creative businesses.
“The vintage scene is growing along the south coast and in particular in Shoreham, with the recent opening of Time Out Studios in Tarmount Lane and new stalls popping up in The Vintage Emporium.”
